Drama Instructions for Children and Teens

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in New York offers a unique, fun-filled drama program for children 3-17 years of age which will help them develop their confidence, enthusiasm, speech skills, self-esteem and teamwork as well as their acting abilities. The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts achieves these goals through a highly developed drama program which includes classes in technical theatre, drama, musical theatre and actor’s skills. Each lesson is carefully planned. Curriculum includes introductory activities, speech, verbal dynamics, creative movement, mimes to music, language development, structured improvisation, dialogue development, snippets, scene starters, mini-scripts, and parent day presentations which culminate in an end-of-year production.
