Dawn was born and raised on Long Island, where she began her artistic training studying classical guitar at the Long Island School of the Arts. Her musical studies included voice, piano, classical guitar, ear training, composition, and music history, and she performed in numerous ensembles and recitals throughout her training.

Following her studies in music, Dawn continued her education at Hofstra University, where she majored in business, blending artistic sensibility with strong organizational and financial acumen.

Dawn currently serves as Treasurer, bringing both creative and administrative depth to her role. Her 30-plus-year career in medical imaging has included leadership roles in marketing and sales, complemented by longstanding volunteer service, including involvement with SEPTA.

Her passions extend beyond professional life to volunteering, theater, concerts, and dance repertory, reflecting a lifelong commitment to the arts and community engagement.
