Lou Allacco is a retired teacher from Nassau BOCES where he taught music to middle school special education students for 17 years. He is NYS Certified in Music, Special and Elementary Education. He earned his Master of Arts Degree in Music Therapy from Hofstra University.

Throughout his 30 years of teaching music to students with handicapping conditions. he has always tried to incorporated theater arts and musical theater components into his curriculum. His experience in theater includes performing for The Northport Community Theater, Theater Three, and Airport Playhouse. He has also directed musicals for The Plainview and Westbury School Districts as well as The Broadhollow Theater in Elmont.
