The Marcus Center will be hosting a musical event, featuring FunikiJam World Music, for children of all ages. FunikiJam has evolved into a landmark early childhood education and entertainment organization that incorporates rhymes, chants, songs and stories with indigenous music from around the world. This event is meant to inspire children of all ages and teach them about musical cultures from around the world. During this show, children will be able to not only watch this exciting, live performance but also interact with the performers – even getting to test out some of the instruments themselves. The performance is a fundraiser for the Marcus Center. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased online at www.marcusarts.org via PayPal; donations can also be made online. Food and refreshments will be available.
