Drama Instructions for Children and Teens
The Marcus Center For the Performing Arts offers a unique, fun-filled drama program for children 2-17 years of age which will help them develop their confidence, enthusiasm, speech skills, self-esteem and teamwork as well as their acting abilities. Students practice their acting ability by learning dialog from theater productions and movies. Students will learn dialog that precedes and follows each song. Each lesson is carefully planned. Curriculum includes introductory activities, speech, verbal dynamics, creative movement, mimes to music, language development, structured improvisation, dialogue development, snippets, scene starters, mini-scripts, and parent day presentations which culminate in an end-of-year production.
