Mission Statement
The Marcus Center For The Performing Arts helps children ages 3 to 17 develop a sense of cultural awareness and appreciation for the performing arts. Through self-expression, children will have the opportunity to develop effective oral communication skills and build their confidence in order to demonstrate their theatrical ability. Children will be able make friends and learn to work as a cooperative group resulting in a theatrical composition. In addition, the center provides a means for children to learn dance, voice and drama as a catalyst for developing children’s communication, social, and problem solving skills that will transfer to all aspects of their lives.
