Scholarships

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is proud to offer the Marci Lynn Silverman Scholarship to at-risk dance students that qualify for the program. Scholarship funding is offered for disadvantaged youth.

Give at-risk youth the chance to dance! Contribute to the Marci Lyne Silverman Dance Scholarship Program.

Marci Lynn was our beloved dance teacher that taught dance to the youth during the 2018 Summer Arts Program at the TriCommunity and Youth Agency. Marci encouraged the children to be creative using their body to express themself by building their confidence and self-esteem. Marci passed away during the COVID-19 Pandemic and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. The Marci Lynn Silverman Dance Scholarship was created in her honor since Marci believed that all children can learn to dance and should have the opportunity to dance. Your donations provide children a chance to experience the art of dance that may not have otherwise had the opportunity. The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is greatful for you contribution for this worthwhile cause.
